We’re on a mission to make design easier! Every week, we answer a question from our Design Hotline— an Instagram line where we walk you through your biggest design questions! Here’s a submission we recently answered.
Here is another one from Lippy Clip! This time, they want to give their packaging stickers a refresh.
This is a good amount of copy for a small space, so let’s start there. Once again, pulling out smaller bits of text and bolding them can go a long way to improve a design.
Another tip is to reserve using accent fonts like scripts for copy that isn’t crucial. Using it sparingly can still feel thoughtful and heartfelt!
Finally, Lippy Clip wanted to use a square-shaped sticker instead of a circle, so removing the thick, round border is the last step we will take in this refresh!
So much better! Embracing the new square format and pulling out small bits of text went a long way to make this a successful update!
Bonus: This design can easily be cropped to a circle shape as well!
