How to Design Your Course Kits with Your Brand & Students in Mind
How Keleigh Lauermann used the Bold & Bright Complete DIY Course Design Kit to Build and Sell Her Holiday Bundle

The truth is, I actually love designing for my business. The problem, though, is that it takes me 10X longer than it should because I either:

I’m a marketing strategist for women in direct sales and each year I release a limited edition bundle of marketing tools to help them save time and money while marketing their business during the holidays. Normally it’s a set of products that takes at least a few weeks for me to design.

I added just one element that wasn’t provided by the design kit – a row of evergreen trees – to give it a wintery feel. The dots from Nicole Bright and Bubbly kit became snow, the banners became ribbon, and the magical winter wonderland in my head was brought to life within 24 hours.

Instagram posts become stickers
Square format posts quickly became stickers. With a few simple tweaks they were living a whole new life off the computer screen.
Facebook group cover photos became postcards
With their similar shapes and sizes, this was such an easy transition and a huge time saver! The elements that were already in place just needed to be made a little smaller and moved around to make room for some extra info. Within a few minutes, I had the perfect postcard insert to promote my affiliate program.
The course workbook becomes a lead magnet
And of course, I needed the perfect lead magnet to prompt my Holiday Bundle. The course workbook template was a game-changer. I was able to easily mix and match the pages to create a detailed guide on how to plan your holiday marketing strategy. I especially loved how Nicole had grouped elements together – like a cursive headline and a bit of body text – so I could copy and paste from page to page.
Which is exactly how so many of the products in my bundle were created.
Because Nicole had so intentionally created each and every piece of each template I was able to mix and match endlessly to create completely unique designs. Those little design moments truly created entirely new stories.
